About Kowkab
Steel, made at home.
Founded in 2022 as a share company, Kowkab took the AGAB-SOOR Group from trading building materials into making them.
We produce reinforcing bar and roofing sheets at our factory in Jigjiga, for contractors, builders and traders across the region.
AGAB-SOOR Holding Company is our founder, partner and major shareholder. Its distribution network connects our factory floor directly to the people who build.
Every roof we roll and every bar we bend is made by a local team, in a local factory, for the buildings going up around us.

Kowkab Steel Industry is the manufacturing arm of the AGAB-SOOR Group. The group built its name trading building materials across the region — and founded Kowkab to make those materials here instead of importing them.
That backing means two things for buyers: a factory with the investment to keep producing, and a distribution network that gets steel from our gate to your site.
